Gretchen Barretto and her friends have issued a public apology after backlash received over their video.
GRETCHEN BARRETTO – The famous female personality Gretchen Barretto and friends Patty Pineda and Mimi Que have issued a public apology for laughing while reading a netizen’s request.
Gretchen Barretto is one of the generous famous personalities who helped others in their own little way and she was already doing it a long time ago already.
However, it was just recently when she became transparent about her charity works.
In a previous article even, she lambasted someone on social media for doubting her motives to help those who are great needs.

But aside from the issues that are thrown at her despite her goodness, Gretchen and her friends remained helpful and continue to do their kind act.
Meanwhile, a controversial video of them has surfaced recently where they were caught laughing intensely while reading the request letter of a netizen identified as Jo-Ann Mula.
According to a report, these women have been condemned by the netizens after their video has gone viral and they were also accused of being insensitive.
Thus, through an Instagram live, Gretchen along with her friends issued a public apology.
They said that they take full responsibility for their actions. Barretto also admitted that it was rude and not lady-like for her to laugh at that particular moment.
“Sorry po at minsan nakakalimutan ko po na 48 years old na ako and I should be behaving my age. But talagang sadyang immature pa rin po ako and I am very sorry. I’d like to make a public apology, although Jo-Ann Mula already accepted our apology that very night,” she said.
She also informed that they have already apologized to the involved netizen that night for their behavior to which the netizen has accepted.
“I know that I have been a little… not a little, but very careless, very reckless with my ways. Like I said, I am flawed and I am willing to learn. I am willing to get hurt.”
“I am glad that we are going through this trial, this hurdle because it is only through this kind of situation we grow. And so we’re learning to grow and tears won’t hurt. It won’t kill us,” she further added.
