Elmo Magalona’s Brother Frank Magalona Arrested in Taguig
ELMO MAGALONA – Young Kapamilya actor Elmo Magalona’s older brother Frank Magalona broke his silence on the latter’s arrest in Taguig.
Recently, Frank Magalona, one of the sons of the late actor-rapper Francis Magalona with wife Pia Magalona, was arrested by the authorities in Taguig.
Based on a report, citing Southern Police District Director Chief Superintendent Tomas Apolinario Jr.’s report, the son of the celebrity couple was arrested after allegedly touching a woman’s buttocks at the Revel Bar in Bonifacio Global City.
Frank Magalona is the brother of celebrities Elmo Magalona, Maxene Magalona-Mananquil, Saab Magalona-Bacarro, and Arkin Magalona. Their other siblings are Unna Lu, Clara Magalona, and Nicolo Magalona.
Based on a recent report in Pep, speaking to the media at the press conference of his new film Walwal, Elmo Magalona revealed his side over the arrest of his older brother Frank Magalona.
According to the young Kapamilya actor, he does not think that his brother can do the allegation towards him. He assured that his older brother has his love and support and he is there if he needs him.
“Wala naman tayong gustong marinig na ganyan, pero yun lang po masasabi ko. Kahit ano pong support… words of advice… Basta kailangan niya ako, I’ll be there for him,” he said.
Reportedly, Frank Magalona was released after the investigation and the complaint against him was reduced.
Elmo Magalona is one of the stars of the Regal Films movie Walwal alongside with Donny Pangilinan, Kiko Estrada, Jerome Ponce, Kisses Delavin, Jane de Leon, and Sophia Senoron. According to the report, it is directed by Jose Javier Reyes and will be showing in cinemas on June 27.
Walwal is one of the projects of Elmo without his loveteam partner and rumored girlfriend Janella Salvador. The young actress also recently did a movie with Jameson Blake entitled So Connected. Meanwhile, she is vocal that she and Elmo have talked prior to taking different projects.
