YFSF CONTROVERSY – A Nicki Minaj performance from Sheena Belarmino in the latest episode of ‘Your Face Sound Familiar’ has sparked an intrigue whether or not she said a foul word of the original lyrics.
Sheena Belarmino is one of the kid contestants of the second season of the ‘Your Face Sounds Familiar-Kids’. Other contestants were: Esang De Torres, Noel Comia Jr., Marco Masa, Chun-Sa, Onyok Pineda, Krystal Brimmer, and TNT Boys Francis Concepcion, Mackie Empuerto, and Keifer Sanchez.
Their every episode has definitely dominated the ratings every Saturday and Sunday as their transformations to various artists, may it be local or international, has never failed to capture countless hearts.
However, a controversy has lately sparked because of the performance of one contestant.
Sheena Belarmino has transformed to Nicki Minaj in the June 3 episode of the program where she performed the female singer-rapper’s hit song ‘Starships”.
The people got confused for the original lyrics included a foul word and some have heard that the kid has sung that particular line of the song. They were left in an argument whether the child has sang the original lyrics or not considering that the show is Rated G.

Jay Fredo: “Higher than any other” would have been more appropriate for a G rated show. Pero baka pinalitan nila, baka motherfather sinasabi niya.
Margo Anareta: Sa mga nagcocomment po na nagcuss daw si sheena, nilinaw po ng yfsf sa twitter yung lyrics and I quote “Kafamiliars, we would like to inform you that all the lyrics that our celebrity kid performers sing are clean versions. Sabi po ni Sheena “Mother Mother”” hehe kaya wag pong ibash lalo na si sheena
