Why did Ryle Santiago and Barbie Imperial break up?
RYLE SANTIAGO – Kapamilya actor-dancer Ryle Santiago revealed the reason behind his split with actress then-girlfriend Barbie Imperial.
It is no secret to the public that Ryle Santiago and Barbie Imperial were romantically involved before. Currently, both of them are focusing on their showbiz career and the opportunities that are coming their way.
Barbie is currently doing a television series with returning Kapamilya actor JM de Guzman. They are starring in the ABS-CBN TV series Araw Gabi. In real-life, the actress is in a relationship with Kapuso actor Paul Salas based on a report.
For his part, Ryle Santiago is a member of the Hashtags which is an all-male dance group launched in the ABS-CBN’s noontime variety show It’s Showtime. He is also part of the afternoon TV series Asintado.
Speaking to Pep at a media launch for being the newest celebrity endorser of the clothing brand BNY Jeans, Ryle Santiago also revealed that he is currently schooling. He goes to school every Tuesday and Thursday.
At the media launch, the young Kapamilya actor-dancer was asked about Barbie Imperial. According to him, he is proud of her as she’s given a big break in her showbiz career.
“I’m very proud of her… Heto na ang career niya, nahanap na niya ang path niya. Tuloy-tuloy na siya,” he said.
However, considering his hectic schedule, Ryle Santiago admitted that he was not able to watch the TV series of his then-girlfriend. Meanwhile, his mother Sherilyn Reyes is updating him about the story.
Based on the report, Ryle Santiago was also asked about his relationship with Barbie Imperial before. According to him, they were longtime friends and they were in a relationship for more than a year.
“She’s ano, thoughtful naman siya, very caring… Compatible naman kami,” he said.
When asked about the reason behind their split, the Hashtags member expressed that they don’t agree in so many things but there’s nothing wrong about it. He stressed that they grew together and they remained as friends and have good careers.
Ryle Santiago is also supportive of Barbie Imperial’s relationship with Paul Salas. He stressed that Paul is also his friend and he asked permission from him. According to him, as long as he can see his friend happy, he is okay with that.
