A Pinoy has bagged the Mr. Star Model Universe 2018 title.
BARON ANDREWS – The representative of the Philippines, Baron Andrews, has bagged the Mr. Star Model Universe 2018 title.
The country has yet again dominated another pageant as Mark Andrew Baron, also known as Baron Andrews, won Mr. Star Model Universe 2018 in Peru on Monday (Manila time).
The runners-up in the competition included Peru and Mexico.
Andrews is a Social Studies teacher at San Rafael Technological High School in Navotas.

On Instagram, the titleholder has expressed his gratitude through a post.
“At long last, with all the effort I put into this contest. The discipline. The favorite foods that I tried hard to ignore….. lahat ito, sa pahintulot ng Dios Ama, nakamit ko na maging kauna unahang Mr. Star Model Universe 2018,” he wrote.
He further added, “Kahit po mahaba ang byinahe namin, dalawang araw kami bumiyahe papuntang Peru, tapos ang paga adjust ng tulog at body clock, at ang paga adopt sa klima dito sa Peru, ako ay minalat at inubo isang araw bago ang paligsahan. Nawala po ang boses ko.”

But luckily, he got recovered to be able to do it in the competition and he definitely did not fail as he was able to bag the title.
“Maraming salamat po sa lahat lahat ng walang sawang sumuporta at naniwala sa aking kakayahan,” he said.
Andrew indicated, “Di pa po ako nakakatulog hanggang ngayon dahil sa galak ! Ang tagumpay ko na ito ay Para sa Pilipinas!”
Aside from being a teacher and a titleholder, he is also a model.
He also expressed his gratitude to all the people who have become of this journey.
