However, a rift has surfaced as admitted by the young actress and seeks privacy over as it is of her personal life.
In a report from PEP, the actress has stated over the issue about her mother, not in favor of Elmo Magalona for her, “Hindi naman sa ayaw. I think ang problem lang talaga is… mothers are really protective when it comes to their children. So, whoever… kung sino man ang lumapit diyan, gusto nila i-make sure na worthy and all.”
And recently, the fans of Janella have been grateful and delightful as Desiderio has shown support for her daughter’s new film with Jameson Blake, the “So Connected”.

However, to recall, she did not show support on Janella’s film with Elmo Magalona.
In the comment section, one user has commented asking, “Ms jenine, pag babae po ang gusto ng anak niyo ayaw niyo ngayong lalake na ayaw niyo padin? E ano nalang po??”
To which Jenine has replied, “Ang gusto ko lalaking matino na marunong rumespeto. Yung gagabayan yung anak ko sa tama.”
Any mother would probably like to have that kind of man for their daughter but life is unpredictable that all they could do is to prevent whatever bad is coming.
