Prince Harry & Wife Meghan Markle Uses Filipino Culture
The newlywed couple Prince Harry and his gorgeous wife Meghan Markle are using the Filipino culture in some aspects of their life.
Last weekend, the whole world witnessed the historic royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, which was even aired throughout the globe.
The most anticipated wedding of the royal couple has been attended by thousands of people who wanted to see them, exchanging vows on their ‘big day’.
However, some people might not know that the newly married couple is not new to Filipino culture.
Both Prince Harry and Meghan had a taste of the Filipino culture and tradition while they are growing up.
Meghan Markle knows how to cook adobo and can also speak the Tagalog language, in fact, she greeted her Filipino fans during her royal tour with Prince Harry.
“Growing up in LA, with its melting pot of vast and varied cultures, I was no stranger to the Filipino community. I can whip up a big pot of chicken adobo (marinated chicken) like it’s nobody’s business, and you’ll occasionally hear me toss out a ‘Salamat po’ conversationally,” Markle said.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Prince William grew up with a Filipina Nanny during their younger years who had also attended the two royal weddings.
