EARTHQUAKE – The United States Geological Survey confirmed that an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 hit close to the U.S. Territory of Guam on Monday.

Recently, a quake struck close to the territory of the United States in the Pacific Ocean. Initially, it was reported that the quake was at 6.0 magnitude and it hit near Guam at 10:26 in the morning. The intensity was later on downgraded.

Based on a recent report in ABS-CBN News, the quake was downgraded to 5.6 magnitude and it struck 54 miles southeast of Guam.

Based on a report of Daily Star, there are no reports of injuries caused by the 5.6 magnitude quake that hit near Guam. There are also no reports about destruction on the island.
