WILLIE REVILLAME – The popular game show host Willie Revillame was captured in a serious conversation with President Rodrigo Duterte which has then ignited speculations of his political plans.
Willie Revillame is a very popular game show host in the country. Aside from his humor, he became known for his compassion and his willingness to help other people especially those who are in great needs.
He has already helped a lot of people and in that case, he does not have any political positions. He has helped and continues to help the people through his television show program.
And since then, he was always speculated to run a position but many elections have already passed, the host remained to be a host and still helping others.
This is the main reason why the speculations have surfaced again that he is running for a position after he was captured engaged in a serious conversation with President Rodrigo Duterte.
According to a report from the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), the popular male host and the President was spotted in the wake of Senator Edgardo Angara at the Heritage Park.
Based on the informant of Pep, it was actually the son of the late politician, also a senator, Sonny Angara, who persuaded for the “Wowowin” host to sit beside Duterte.
Moreover, the conversation was also serious which lasted for five hours.
As per the report, there were rumors that a political leader was actually convincing Revillame to run as Quezon City Mayor. Of whom among were: House Representatives Winnie Castelo, Bingbong Crisologo, at Ace Barbers, and former Cabinet Secretary Mike Defensor.
A popular “kingmaker” is also talking for the male host to run for a senatorial race.
