Super Tekla finally speaks over alleged addiction to certain vices.
SUPER TEKLA – The Kapuso comedian Super Tekla finally admitted something with regards to his alleged addiction to gambling and drugs which prompted him to be kicked out of Willie Revillame’s game show.
Based on the previous report, the Kapuso comedian Super Tekla was allegedly fired out of the show by the host himself Willie Revillame due to his bad vices.
However, there were yet no confirmations about these allegations. But the Kapuso comedian himself finally speaks up about the issue.
According to a report from the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), Tekla refuted the rumors that he has been fired out of the show because of his addiction in the casino.
“Naku, hindi totoo yun,” he firmly denied but he revealed that playing Bingo has become his past time.
He shared, “Nagbi-bingo talaga ako, pastime. Hindi ko naman… napakaipokrito ko naman kung hindi ko… Parang, hindi ba puwedeng magsaya, mag-enjoy, mag relax? Time for myself.”
Moreover, he revealed that he had been addicted to drugs before but that was accordingly “before”. He iterated that he already surpassed this phase and was clean prior to his signing an exclusive contract with the network.
It was already more than a year since Tekla got out from the show but he indicated that he and Revillame were not able to talk since then but he got no ill feelings for the male host.
“Hindi pa. Pero wala naman kaming ano ni Kuya,” he said on the report.
He is even grateful to him because he won’t accordingly be the person that he is now if not because of Revillame who just got fond of him when he joined as a contestant and eventually got him in the show. He became a regular co-host until the reports came out that he got fired out.
