Aga Muhlach’s Dad ‘Cheng’ Muhlach P(–foul word(s) removed–) Away
AGA MUHLACH – Actor Aga Muhlach broke his silence on the death of his former actor-producer father Alvaro ‘Cheng’ Muhlach.
The Muhlach siblings were left in grief and sadness by the sudden passing of the patriarch of their family. Former actor-producer Cheng Muhlach died at the age of 74 on May 12 while sleeping on his hospital bed at St. Lukes Medical Center.
Based on a report, a day prior to it, Cheng was rushed to the hospital because of cardiac arrest. He is the father of actress Arlene Muhlach and actors Aga Muhlach, AJ Muhlach, and Andrew Muhlach.
Aga Muhlach’s late father is the younger brother of former actress Amalia Fuentes. His other children are Albert, Aaron, Almira, and Andrea.
According to the report, the wake of Aga Muhlach’s father was held in Heritage Park in Taguig City. One of those who visited the wake of the late actor-producer is President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
Andrew Muhlach even shared photos of them together with the Chief Executive on social media. He is the youngest among the Muhlach siblings and is vocal about his closeness, love, and longing for the presence of his father.
Recently, Aga Muhlach broke his silence on the death of his father Cheng Muhlach. Based on a recent report in Philippines’ Ultimate Showbiz Hub (PUSH), the actor expressed his gratitude to everyone who sympathized with their family in their moment of grief over the loss of their dad.
“Sa iba na hindi pa ako nakakasagot, hindi ko din alam kung papano magpasalamat sa inyo,” Aga said.
Based on the report, Aga Muhlach also revealed that Cheng Muhlach is like any father who is always concerned about his children although they are already getting old. He also revealed that his dad has even gave him a call when he was gaining weight and reminded him to drop off some weight.
“When I was gaining weight he called me and told me na, ‘Aga lose weight.’ When I was kinda retiring he tells me na, ‘Aga go back to work.’ He really loves his children,” the actor expressed.
Reportedly, the remains of Aga Muhlach’s father were cremated and the internment was held on May 15 at Aeternum Columbary in Fort Santiago, Taguig.
