Guidelines On How To Report Vote-Buying Incidents
Here are several guidelines released by the Philippine National Police (PNP) on how to report vote-buying incidents in your barangay.
The Filipino people are now busy visiting their respective precinct to vote for their favorite candidates for the most-awaited Barangay and Sangguniang (SK) elections.
The barangay and SK candidates were also making efforts to earn the sympathy of the voters who can help them to secure a position in the government.
Unfortunately, several candidates were using dirty and inappropriate strategy to win this year’s election.
Recently, the official Facebook page of “The Summit Express” has uploaded the guidelines on how to report any incidents of vote-buying in Barangay and SK elections.
PNP released the guidelines to guide and encourage the voters on how to properly report vote-buying incidents.
- Collect Evidence
Witnesses should collect and gathered enough pieces of evidence to prove that reports are legit.
- Report to the Authorities
Immediately report vote-buying incidents at the nearest police station and submit the proof or evidence.
- File Formal Complaints
File formal complaints against the accused official involved on vote-buying.
