Phivolcs Confirms Cagayan Struck By An Earthquake

EARTHQUAKE – The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) confirmed that an earthquake struck some parts of Cagayan this morning.

A quake does not exempt any time in shaking a place. Recently, some parts of Cagayan were shaken during the wee hours. Based on a recent report in Philstar, it was around 3:43 in the morning when the quake struck some parts of Cagayan.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake has a magnitude of 5.4. No aftershocks are expected. Phivolcs also stated that there may be no damages caused by the quake.

According to the report, Laoag City and Santiago City, Isabela felt the Intensity 1 which means that the shaking is hardly felt.
