Jameson Blake Paired with Janella Salvador in a Movie
JAMESON BLAKE – Young Kapamilya actor Jameson Blake broke his silence on criticisms he received over his team-up with young actress Janella Salvador in an upcoming movie.
Young Kapamilya actress Janella Salvador was paired with actor-singer Elmo Magalona on several projects before. The former is the daughter of singer-actress Jenine Desiderio with Juan Miguel Salvador while the latter is the son of the late rapper Francis Magalona with wife Pia Magalona.
The fans and supporters of Janella and Elmo collectively call the two celebrities ‘ElNella’. One of the recent projects that they did together is the fantasy movie My Fairy Tale Love Story.
Following the said movie, Janella Salvador and Elmo Magalona received different offers. The young actor is set to star an upcoming movie with other young Kapamilya actors.
On her part, based on a recent report in Pep, Janella Salvador worked together with Jameson Blake in the Regal Films movie So Connected. The movie is directed by filmmaker Jason Paul Laxamana who is also the director of the films Love is Blind and 100 Tula Para Kay Stella.
Sadly, Jameson received negative criticisms over his team-up with Janella in the movie. According to the young actor, he was even branded as a “user” who allegedly uses the young actress to rise to prominence.
He was also accused as full of promotion after greeting the actress a happy birthday and calling her ‘Trisha’ – the name of the character that she plays in the movie.
“I wasn’t basically promoting… I don’t wanna fight them… When I started in showbiz pag nakita ko nang gano’n I would really be affected, but then I just learned how not to care what people say,” he expressed.
According to Jameson Blake, there will always be people who have some bad things to say and that situation is inevitable.
“I’ll just leave it there. Janella knows that as well. We’re aware of that,” he said.
Based on the report, Jameson Blake and Janella Salvador’s movie So Connected will be released in cinemas on May 23.
