New York Police Hunts Conor McGregor After Attacking UFC Bus
The New York police are now hunting the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter Conor McGregor after attacking a bus carrying UFC fighters.
On Thursday (April 05, 2018), the MMA fighter Conor McGregor arrived in New York City ahead of the UFW 223 to support his teammate Artem Lobov on its match against Alex Caceres.
McGregor whose in New York attacked a bus through picking up an object and threw it at the bus injuring some of the UFC fighters.
Lightweight Michael Chiesa suffered a cut on his head and immediately rushed to the hospital due to the shattered glass.
The vehicle was supposed to bring the UFC fighters back to their hotel when the incident happened.
The New York Police Department and UFC President Dana White were called to the scene but there was no arrest warrant had been issued. NYPD also confirmed that they were looking for the Irishman.
Dana White also released a statement condemning McGregor over its irresponsible action.
“They (the police) are looking for him. His plane cannot take off, he cannot leave the state of New York. I assume eventually if they don’t catch him, he’ll turn himself in. You can imagine he’ll be sued beyond belief. This was a real bad career move for him,” White said quoted by MSN.
