EDU MANZANO – The veteran actor Edu Manzano shares his stand on having a grandchild with Luis Manzano and son’s girlfriend Jessy Mendiola.
Edu Manzano is the father of Luis Manzano who is currently in a relationship with Kapamilya sexy actress Jessy Mendiola.
When it comes to the relationship of his children, Edu admitted that he was hands-off but will always be there to guide them.
Luis Manzano is his son with one of the most celebrated actresses of the Philippine acting industry, Vilma Santos.
It has been two years already when Jessy and Luis publicly revealed their relationship and they were always vocal about their talks of marriage.
Based on a report from the Philippines’ Ultimate Showbiz Hub, Edu said, “Kung sinong gugustuhin ng anak ko, siyempre, masaya ako. Ang parents ay wala nang karapatan makialam.”
This is when he was asked about the choices of his children when it comes to having a partner.
He added that Luis is already of the right age to make a decision for himself.

And when asked if he wanted already to have an “apo” with his son and son’s girlfriend, he responded, “No, not at all. I’m just happy to see them happy, yon ang pinakaimportante.”

Moreover,“Wala pa akong apo, but all my kids, lahat halos sila graduates at nagma-masters na. Yung isa kong daughter nag-aaral sa New York. Yung isa kong anak nasa UCLA, so at least, tatlo na ang graduate ko.”
What if they decided to have a child already?
“You know, it’s their life. Basta kung ano man ang mangyari, bilang tatay, nandito lang naman ako para suportahan siya at i-guide… Pero malaki na yon, eh, alam na niya ang ginagawa niya,” Edu answered.
