Ruffa Gutierrez Reveals Why She Does Not Like To Be Annabelle Rama in Raising Lorin, Venice
RUFFA GUTIERREZ – Actress and beauty queen Ruffa Gutierrez revealed that she does not want to be like her mother Annabelle Rama in raising her two daughters.
Ruffa Gutierrez has two daughters from her marriage with her business former husband Yilmaz Bektas. They are Lorin and Venice. It was in 2007 when the actress and her then-husband ended their four-year marriage.
Annabelle Rama and Eddie Gutierrez’s daughter have the “sole custody” of her two daughters with her businessman ex-husband. She also does not seek any financial support from Yilmaz with the advice of her talent manager mom.
Based on a report, Ruffa Gutierrez is now in a relationship with French-Israeli Jordan Mouyal. The two are together for years now and the actress-beauty queen enjoys their private relationship.
Although her mother is not in favor of her relationship with Jordan Mouyal, Ruffa Gutierrez previously stressed that her boyfriend goes along well with the rest of the members of her family.
Ruffa’s daughters Lorin and Venice are not little ones anymore. In fact, her eldest, Lorin, is already doing endorsements of a cosmetic brand based on a recent report in Philippines’ Ultimate Showbiz Hub (PUSH).
During her daughter’s pictorial for her endorsement, Ruffa Gutierrez clarified that she does not want to be like her mother Annabelle Rama in raising her two daughters. She stressed her belief that kids now are “more well-educated”.
“I don’t want to be an Anabelle Rama because I know how it feels… Pag-holding hands ko pa lang dati talagang ‘ahhh’ nagtataray-taray na siya dun sa set, right?” she said.
According to the actress-beauty queen, she often tells Lorin to be God-fearing, positive and be a role model to others. She revealed that she often reminds her daughter to enjoy what’s left of her childhood and not to get excited if someone gives her flowers.
“Wag kang ma-excite kasi it will be the first sa hundreds na magbibigay sa’yo ng flowers,” Ruffa said.
Based on the report, Ruffa Gutierrez admitted that tries be “as millennial as possible” to Lorin and Venice and to be a cool mom to them. She expressed that her daughters grew up smart and she believes that they won’t disappoint her.
