Possible Sanctions To File vs. Billboard Operator Who Plays Adult Film Along Makati Avenue
Here are the possible sanctions to be filed against the billboard operator who played an adult video film along Makati Avenue.
On Tuesday (March 20, 2018), the adult video film played on the billboard along Makati Avenue has been one of the most controversial topics online.
Atty. Claire Castro said that the sanctions and penalties to be filed against the billboard operator should not be underestimated if the accused would be proven violated the law.
Castro also said that billboard owner could face multiple charges including the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009.
Both billboard owner and operator allegedly violated the law if the video was permitted for personal use only and not for commercial purposes.
“Kahit alam mo o mayroon kang permiso, pero hindi ko alam na i-exhibit siya sa public, puwede kang magsampa ng kaso,” Castro said quoted by ABS-CBN.
They could also face the Article 201 of Revised Penal Code prohibiting the airing of indecent shows in public.
The lawyer also explained that the billboard operator could be jailed for three to seven years if proven violated the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009.
Meanwhile, the violation of Article 201 of the Revised Penal Code could put the accused about 12 years in jail.
The adult video film was aired about 2 pm on Tuesday, which was viewed by countless people and even uploaded it on the social media.
