‘Devil’s Breath’ World’s Most Dangerous Drug That Has Horrifying Effect
‘Devil’s Breath’ was claimed to be the world’s most dangerous drug that contains a horrifying effect that could severely affect individual’s health.
A drug called scopolamine or popularly known as ‘Devil’s Breath’ is an anticholinergic drug obtain from several trees native to South America that covered the streets of Colombia with terrifying crimes.
Scopolamine has been dubbed by Vie documentary in 2013 as the most dangerous around the globe for its effect that could turn victims into a zombie-like being similar to “Flakka”.
Vice’s Ryan Duffy went to South Africa to conduct an interview with drug dealers and even their victims for further details and information.
One of the drug dealers revealed that the drug is odorless, colorless, and instantly take effects to the victims after blowing it to their faces.
Drug dealers, thieves, and even prostitutes mostly used this drug in performing their intention with the victims because it could allegedly erase the memory of its victims while under its influence.
“They go out to party and then wake up two or three days later on a park bench, they arrive here without their belongings or their money,” Maria Fernanda Villota, a nurse at San Jose University Hospital in Bogota said quoted by Readers File.
Colombian police reported that almost 1, 2000 cases of people victimized by ‘Devil’s Breath’ has been recorded last year. Most of the victims were high-profile politicians and U.S Embassy employees.
Scopolamine takes effect through blocking the neurotransmitter acetylcholine causing depression of the central nervous system.
The drug has few medical uses suck treating the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease and other motion sicknesses.
