Is Edu Manzano leaving GMA?
EDU MANZANO – The veteran male artist Edu Manzano allegedly left the game show “Celebrity Bluff” to return as a Kapamilya through this show.
Edu Manzano is an American-born Filipino actor, comedian, politician, television personality, comedian, and United States Air Force veteran.
He is the father of Luis Manzano, who on the other hand also became just like him being one of the most respected hosts in the entertainment industry.
He was previously the host of game shows The Weakest Link, Pilipinas, Game KNB?, 1 vs. 100 and Asar Talo Lahat Panalo.
Aside from acting, he also entered politics.
Manzano entered politics in 1998 when he ran for Vice Mayor of Makati City garnering the majority of votes in the election, but his proclamation was suspended due to some conflict on his citizenship.
But later on, he was announced as a Filipino citizen clearing the way for his proclamation as Vice Mayor.
He also appeared in numerous programs such as Alyas Robin Hood, My Dear Heart, Bridges Of Love, Walang Kapalit, Palibhasa Lalaki, Halik Sa Hangin, Emilio Aguinaldo, Markado, Baby Love, Maging Sino Ka Man, Jack & Jill, Till We Meet Again, Dear Heart, Captain Barbell, and among others.
And lately, rumors about him transferring to the Kapamilya network has surfaced.
Based on a report from the MSN News, the 62-year old actor-TV host is set to leave “Celebrity Bluff” and will be joining the all-star cast of Kapamilya TV series “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
Aside from his appearance in the top-rating show, he is offered to do another TV series on ABS-CBN.
Accordingly, the report indicated that the male celebrity is supposed to host his own game show but was not pushed through thus, joining Eugene Domingo in “Celebrity Bluff”.
