Is Regine Velasquez transferring network?
REGINE VELASQUEZ – The Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez finally answers speculations about transferring to the Kapamilya network.
Regine Velazquez is dubbed as Asia’s Songbird because she is regarded for her vocal range, agility, and use of the belting technique.
Throughout her career, she was able to bag MTV Asia‘s Favorite Artist Philippines in 2002 and 2003, the Asian Television Awards‘ Best Musical Program in 2002 and Best Entertainment Special in 2003 and the Aliw Awards‘ Entertainer of the Year in 2007 and 2009.
Moreover, she has been the recipient of lifetime achievement awards, including the Awit Awards‘ Dangal ng Musikang Pilipino, the Star Awards for Music‘s Natatanging Alagad Ng Musika, FAMAS Awards‘ Golden Artist and Myx Music‘s Magna Award.

However, there were speculations about her being pushed by her colleagues to transfer to Kapamilya network.
But in an interview with Pep, she had clarified of having no plans at all in transferring to the rival network of GMA.
She has said, “Ewan ko sa kanila! Kapag nakikita nila ako, palagi nila akong sinasabihan, ‘O, ikaw na lang…’ Ganun? Huwag na tayong nanghahatak. Okay naman ako dito.”

Regine even emphasized that the Kapuso network has taken care of her really good.
“When I got pregnant I was given time. Hindi naman ako minadali. So, the projects that I get are the ones that I like. I’m being given also the chance to get involved sa creative part of every show that I do. I’m just happy that they make me part of it.”
Due to her lengthy service in the industry, she gladly shared that her home network was listening to her and considering her ideas when it comes to creative decisions of her shows.
She indicated, “As an artist, when you’re here for a long time, siyempre meron ka na ring iniisip na gawin. I’m happy na they make me part of that. Nadidinig din yung voice ko. I’m very grateful.”
