Another OFW Admits Suffering Abuse From Employer In Kuwait
Another Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) named Charry Cervantes Deniega admits of suffering abuse from her employer in Kuwait.
A citizen Lilibeth Hizon of Brgy. Cabug in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental went to Bombo Radyo Bacolod reporting that her cousin named Charry Cervantes Deniega is suffering abuse from her Kuwaiti employer.
Deniega, a 42-year-old Pinay domestic helper from Brgy. Binagyuhan, Escalante told Hizon that her employer was giving too much work responsibilities, which is allegedly not included in her job contract.
The Pinay maid was allegedly serving three houses and more than five people at the same time.
Hizon revealed that Deniega has already complained her situation to the agency, but she received no immediate action to resolve the issue.
The OFW was also complaining about her female employer who frequently shouting and cursing at her.
The Filipina migrant worker also told her cousin that sometimes she faints from working too much beyond her duties and responsibilities.
Last Saturday (February 24, 2018), Hizon said that Deniega’s employer locked her cousin inside a room without food and yet she can’t contact the OFW as of this writing.
Cervantes is already separated from her husband and had four children.
