Mark Bautista assaulted by a “distant cousin”.
MARK BAUTISTA – The Pinoy singer Mark Bautista revealed in an interview a traumatic experience when a distant cousin of him assaulted and tried to abuse him.
According to a previous report, the real intention of the singer Mark Bautista in writing the book revealing and coming out with his true sexuality is, to be honest with the people and to himself.
He wanted to break the walls surrounding him from what is keeping him to be uncomfortable.
Indeed, nothing is sweeter than freedom and the truth is what sets us free.
In the same interview as well, the singer shared a traumatic experience he had which he kept for so long.
A distant cousin of him has assaulted him and tried to sexually abuse him. He was still young then.
He narrated, “For the longest time, never ko ‘yan napag-usapan even sa family ko, even sa mga kaibigan ko. May pressure, naging aggressive yung distant cousin ko.”
“In-expose niya yung sarili niya sa akin, parang pinipilit niya ako to do a sexual act. Ganun yung nangyari pero natakasan ko yun. Pero ang daming tanong sa isip ko, but I think sa edad ko rin na yun, hindi pa ganun kalalim yung pag-intindi ko sa mga ganun bagay, so parang kinalimutan ko na lang siya.”
He doesn’t know but he shared that he feels traumatic whenever he sees children on street forlorn and abandoned by their parents.
Mark just then gave out an advice and that is to be careful surrounding your kid.
Based on a report, the singer also stated that he would not like to believe it that this experience has molded his personality but it is a major part of what is happening with his life.
