AICELLE SANTOS – The Kapuso singer Aicelle Santos responded to the netizens after being compared to Julie Anne San Jose in singing GMA’s station ID.

Aicelle Santos is a Filipino soul, R&B, pop, and jazz singer-songwriter, and actress who first appeared in the Philippine music scene as a contestant in a nationwide search for the next best singer during the first season of ABS-CBN’s Star In A Million.

She is also known as the “First Undefeated Pinoy Pop Superstar”, when she achieved eight straight wins in GMA Network’s Pinoy Pop Superstar, “Rock and Soul Diva”, “Traffic Diva”, and “Soul Flair Songstress”.

As an actress she appeared to several shows and programs such as Forever, Love and Lies, Kakambal Ni Eliana, Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real, Strawberry Lane, Buena Familia, Impostora, and Ang Larawan.

This has then gathered several reactions from the people of the social media platform.

She has received praises and positive comments.

Other netizens have disagreed to this statement because she can actually lift someone up without dragging someone down and the singer won’t definitely like it.

Thus, she responded, “wag po tayo mag-away. All kapuso singers will take part in singing the station id.”
