KZ Tandingan Ranks 6th In Singer 2018 After Mandarin Song Performance

KZ Tandingan secured a spot in Singer 2018.

KZ TANDINGAN – The Philippines’ Soul Supreme KZ Tandingan ranked 6th in this week’s episode of Singer 2018 securing a spot for her to become a regular contender.

With her “hardest performance” yet, Soul Supreme KZ Tandingan secured a spot to become a regular contender in “Singer 2018” after ranking 6th in the 6th week and 4th in overall standing.

The singer performed 你不知道的痛」 or “The Pain which You Don’t Know” in English.

“I want to show my respect to the Chinese audience, Chinese culture, Chinese music,” Tandingan said during her interview before her performance explaining the reason behind why she chose to sing a Mandarin medley.

“I actually heard this song by accident. I instantly fell in love with the melody of the song. When I found out what the song really meant, I fell in love with the song,” she added.

After finishing on the 6th rank and 3rd in the overall, Tandingan stepped up to become a regular contender.

She could not even believe that she was able to learn to sing a foreign language in just less than two weeks.

According to a report from ABS-CBN, her “dream performance” is to sing Freddie Aguilar’s iconic “Anak” to be sung in Tagalog and in Mandarin.
