According to Sanchez, they waited for the flowers and the food to arrive the whole day from a supplier that they just have discovered online. Sanchez claimed that they have already paid PHP 62,000 to the caterer.

Based on the report, the caterer issued a receipt and there was a contract that is why Mel Sanchez felt confident that they are legit. The victim admitted having no hint that a problem is about to arise.

The couple offered their wedding guests take-out burgers and juice packs. More than 100 people attended the wedding and Mel Sanchez admitted that they felt embarrassed to the guests although they are not complaining of being hungry already.

“‘Yung iba galing pa sa malalayong lugar. May isa nag-collapse pa after nung event sa sobrang gutom,” Sanchez expressed.

Mel Sanchez has already taken the incident to a barangay in Dasmariñas where the caterer can be located. The victim also prepares the case to be filed against the caterer.

Based on the report, the caterer has blocked Sanchez after the wedding. The barangay also said that Sanchez is the fourth person to complain against the caterer.

“Yung pinaghirapan namin na savings sayang pero higit dun yung nasayang na moment dun sa kasal. Mabalik man ‘yung pera pero ‘yung lost moment hindi maibabalik,” the victim reportedly expressed.

Mel Sanchez’s experience reportedly taught her to really know who she is transacting with.
