Sharon Cuneta looks back to her old self.
SHARON CUNETA – The Megastar Sharon Cuneta looks back from the past to the time where she made a life-changing decision after she was told that she is already “Laos”, “Patay”, and “Tapos”.
Sharon Cuneta is truly one of the stars who made jaw-dropping achievements as an actress and a singer in the entertainment industry.
She has starred in 54 films, 10 television shows, recorded 40 albums and worked as a celebrity endorser for many products and services.
Undeniably, through the years, there was this time where the Megastar seemed to have forgotten about her health and became quite overweight.
And as she looks backs at this particular state of herself and took something from it as an inspiration to everyone.
In an Instagram post, she wrote, “I want you to look at these photos. Because I want you all to remember that no matter how impossible something seems to be, you only need to believe that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us…”
The post is entailed with photos of her.
She explained that the first photo was taken on January 4, 2016, which is the day her father-in-law died.
The next one was also taken in the same year of the same month during his wake.
“I didn’t celebrate my 50th birthday because Daddy Dony died two days before. After the wake was over, I made a vow to myself: That I would not stop until I looked in the mirror and saw the “real me” again. Because these first two pictures never were.”
She further stated, “I never felt right and “I” inside was dying to come out again.”
The Megastar accordingly did this to her fans who stayed with her all along even to the times where she is at her lowest.
“Because you, my Sharonians, deserve the best version of me. Thank you mula sa puso ko, dahil hindi niyo ako iniwan nasa baba man ako ng maraming taon, pinipintasan, pinagtatawanan, tinuring nang “patay,” “laos,” “tapos” sa showbiz. Ngayon, puede na… Puede n’yo na silang sabihan lahat ng “Eshush me? HU U?” Hahaha! Joke! “
