Earlier this month, news reports entailing about the new system to be adapted in the skyway to lessen the traffic broke in. A new toll booth was set to be opened.

The new toll booth has three lanes for the ETC or the Electronic Toll Collection and four lanes which are designed for cash payments. San Miguel Corp. President Ramon Ang expressed that they are continuing to “manage the traffic better”. The San Miguel Corp. is reportedly the parent unit of the Skyway O&M which operates the Skyway System.

To skyway management, am just about to miss my flight. Over 2 hours to get to terminal 3, double usual time due to a skyway toll booth relocation that messed up whole of slex NB. How can you do this & without fair warning? Anyone accountable? @SkywaySOMCO

What is the point of the new toll gate on the Skyway?
It’s causing so much traffic. No point in naming it the “Skyway” anymore.
