Clarissa and her siblings, two sisters and a brother, formed a band and they used to be a back-up of their father whenever the latter has performances.

She is the one on the keyboard.

It was accordingly a great bonding but Clarissa further added, “But when my siblings got married one after the other, we disbanded. I concentrated on my studies.”

And they were grateful for their parent did not tell them on what to do as a career as they were really supportive of them.

She graduated as a Magna Cum Laude at the University of Sto. Tomas finishing Bachelor in Fine Arts Major in Painting.

Clarissa even received the highest academic award, The Rector’s Award in 2009.

On her masterpieces, she uses acrylic and oil.

As for her work, she described it as, “Not realistic but not pure abstract, too. There’s figure, walang total form, not complete body parts.”
