Korean actor Jeon Tae Soo dies at the age of 34.
JEON TAE SOO – The famous Korean actor from hit series Secret Love Jeon Tae Soo dies at the age of 34 after a long battle with depression.
Jeon Tae Soo is known for his series such as Sungkyunkwan Scandal ( Secret Love), All My Love, and It’s Okay Daddy’s Girl.
According to a report from the Soompi, the famous Korean actor died at the age of 34 on Sunday, January 21.
He is the brother of the Korean actress Ha Ji Won.
Haewadal Entertainment, his agency has indicated on their official statement, “Jeon Tae Soo has left this earth on January 21 at age 34. He had been undergoing continued treatment for his depression, and up till recently, we were in detailed discussions about him making his return to acting as his condition had improved greatly. His family and friends are in deep mourning following the sudden news.”
They also asked the people to refrain from “publishing speculative articles or writing malicious comments about the late actor” as he was “extremely passionate about acting” and was purely an artist.
The family of the actor plans to hold a quiet funeral for him and that is the reason why reporters are requested not to attend.
“In order to give Jeon Tae Soo a respectful farewell, we sincerely request that reporters do not appear at the funeral,” it said.
It will just be attended by his family and close acquaintances.
Thus, with the unexpected passing of her brother, actress Ha Ji Won canceled her promotional activities for her upcoming film Manhunt to be with her family.
The cause of his death has not been reported yet.
