How many movies will Director Cathy Garcia-Molina do before she will retire?
CATHY GARCIA-MOLINA – Film director Cathy Garcia-Molina clarified her previous statement that she will only do one more film before she will retire.
One of the current blockbuster directors whose works are loved by many viewers is filmmaker Cathy Garcia-Molina. She has worked with many excellent actors and actresses in projects and those movies visibly hooked the people.
Among the celebrities who have worked with Direk Cathy are Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Enrique Gil, Liza Soberano, Aga Muhlach, Dingdong Dantes, Cristine Reyes, and Ronaldo Valdez.
Based on a report, Direk Cathy worked with Aga, Ronaldo, Dingdong, Cristine, and Enrique in the family comedy-drama film Seven Sundays which was released in 2017.
Based on a report in Philippines’ Ultimate Showbiz Hub (PUSH), director Cathy Garcia-Molina expressed during a press conference for Seven Sunday that she will only “one more film” as she will soon retire from filmmaking.
Lots of people were saddened by the revelation of the filmmaker as she is undeniably one of the brilliant directors in the Philippines. Nevertheless, many understand that she has contributed a lot to the industry and it is time for her to devote her time to her family.
According to the report, there were recent speculations that crossed the surface after a photo that somehow shows KathNiel, the loveteam of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, having a meeting with Direk Cathy. The filmmaker confirmed that her contract entails doing a movie with the two young stars.
Is her movie with KathNiel going to be the last movie project of director Cathy Garcia-Molina?
Fortunately, Direk Cathy may be doing three more films aside from the KathNiel movie. She is going to be the director of the project starring Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson and Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach.
“Nadagdagan… You know this is a project that I would want. And I also like the story talaga so I’ve accepted it with the KathNiel project na hindi natatanggal,” she said.
Based on the report, Direk Cathy Garcia-Molina admitted during the story conference of PiaRald’s upcoming film My Perfect You that she also thought that she will only be doing just one more film before she will retire.
According to her, she is just an employee of Star Cinema and she is just obeying so it depends with regards to her upcoming movie projects.
