The Metro Manila Film Festival 2017 releases box-office results.

MMFF 2017 – The Metro Manila Film Festival 2017’s actual figures in terms of the box-office results have finally been released.

The official entries for the Metro Manila Film Festival 2017 are ANG PANDAY directed by Rodel Nacianceno, ALL OF YOU directed by Dan Villegas, THE REVENGERS SQUAD directed by Joyce A. Bernal, MEANT TO BEH directed by Antonio Y. Reyes, DEADMA WALKING directed by Julius Alfonso, SIARGAO directed by Paul Soriano, HAUNTED FOREST directed by Ian Lorenos, and ANG LARAWAN directed by Joy Areenas.

And as per the post from the official Facebook page of the MMFF, they have accordingly exceeded the 1 billion target as they set a new record during the two-week run in terms of box-office returns.

It has been released on Monday, January 8.

As posted around 1:40 p.m., the MMFF posted: “We are very happy to announce that we have hit our targets and have set new records with the MMFF 2017 grosses.”

They have further written, “Acting on the clamor of the moviegoers (especially those who just come back from their Holiday vacation) and with the utmost cooperation of theater operators, we have EXTENDED THE SHOWING OF THE MMFF FILMS IN SELECT CINEMAS.”

Here are some of the comments we have obtained from the post:

So proud i watched all the mmff entries super ganda lahat congrats

sana ihiwalay ung mainstream festival at indie film festival ….pero 2016 will be the best combination of entry in the history of Mmff

MONEY MAKING FILM FESTIVAL. Eh di lumabas din ang totoo. So I assume next year nariyan na naman sila Vic, Vice at Coco. Pwede naman sila gumawa ng movie during regular days. Kung gusto ninyong MAPAUNLAD ang Filipino films, eh wag niyo nang bigyan ng pwesto yang tatlong yan. Hay. 2016 was THE BEST MMFF for me.

What can you say about this?

Better yet, revived d Manila Film Festival! Dun nila ibuhos at pagsamasamahin at isiksik mga best-made and for-int’l-quality films nila!!!
Kaya lang nman cl nagsusumiksik makasali s mmff e dhil alam nilang maraming manonood tuwing christmas dhil maraming pera mga tao…
