Another Misprinted P100 Bill Goes Viral In The Social Media

The photo of another case of misprinted P100 bill where the face of former President Roxas was printed at the back side of the banknote goes viral online.

Previously, the case of the faceless and faded P100 bills spread like a wildfire online after it was posted by a netizen in the social media.

The misprinted paper bills show the missing face of former President Manuel Roxas on the banknote withdrew by a netizen named Earla Anne Yehey from BPI’s ATM machine.

The incident has prompted the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) has initiated an investigation regarding the misprinted Philippine peso bills.

Recently, a Facebook user named Emmanuel Claudio Constantino has uploaded the photo of another misprinted P100 bill with the face of late President Roxas on the back side of the paper bill where Mayon Volcano was also printed.

However, the BSP explained that the misprinted paper bills is an isolated case and there are only 33 pieces of misprinted P100 bills.

“The public is also advised to be vigilant against acts of those who wish to confuse, deceive or illegally profit from posting, producing and/or selling fake ‘misprinted’ notes with no numismatic value,” BSP said.
