Tropical Storm Vinta Latest Weather Update
Here is the latest weather update regarding severe tropical storm Vinta, which is now crossing towards Compostela Valley.
On Friday (December 22, 2017), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) announce on its 8 am bulletin that the tropical storm Vinta is crossing over Compostela Valley.
Bagyong Vinta has maximum sustained winds of 90 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of up to 155 kph moving 20 kph at West. The storm was last located in the vicinity of Laak, Compostela Valley.
The weather disturbance is expected to bring moderate to heavy rains over Visayas and Mindanao within the next 24 hours.
Tropical Cyclone Signal Warnings has been raised in different areas in the Philippines due to Bagyong Vinta.

The weather agency also advised the residents in the affected areas that sea travel remains risky due to rough seas.
The local officials have also alerted the residents for possible flash floods and landslides, due to the bad weather.
Vinta is expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by Christmas Day (December 25, 2017).
