Tatay Tony, 64-Year-Old Jollibee Crew Works Hard Despite His Old Age
A 64-year-old Jollibee crew earns praises and admiration from the netizens in the social media for working hard despite his old age.
Senior citizens or people 60-year-old and above usually stay at home enjoying the remaining time of their life, since their children take care of all the house bills and expenses.
However, there still some elderlies who are still working despite old age and difficulties just to provide the financial of their families.
Recently, a Facebook user named Amelou Saqueza has shared the story of a 64-year-old man working as a Jollibee crew at Mongkok.
In the post, Saqueza narrated that the fast-food chain crew named Tatay Tony has been working in Hong Kong for 28 years and now assigned in Jollibee Mangkok.
Amelou expressed her admiration for the old man for working hard despite his old age. She also said that there’s no age discrimination in Hong Kong.
Tatay Tony also told her that there are some people who are still working even at the age of 74.
The Jollibee employee is an Ilonggo like Saqueza who shared this inspiring story.

“Currently i’m in Hongkong, then i met Tatay Tony who is 64 years old but still working here at Jollibee Mongkok and he’s been working in Hongkong for about 28 years already. I am really really so PROUD of you Tatay Tony. I SALUTE and RESPECT you. There’s no discrimination here in Hongkong in terms of age. Some are still working in a fast food chain like 74 years old said Tatay Tony.
