Demi-Leigh Nel Peters from the South Africa was crowned as Miss Universe 2017.
MISS UNIVERSE 2017 -Demi-Leigh Nel Peters from the South Africa crowned as this year’s Miss Universe 2017, the successor of Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere from France.
The lauded and the commendable performance of Miss South Africa throughout the competition, starting off from the preliminaries down to the coronation has made her win the most prestigious beauty pageant.
All eyes were on the beauty queen as she walked the stage of the Miss Universe Pageant.
Miss South Africa bested out 92 competitors in the 66th annual Miss Universe pageant.
The first runner-up is Miss Colombia and the second runner-up is Miss Jamaica.
The show was hosted by Steve Harvey which is his third time to host the event.
The event was held at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Las Vegas on November 26, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET/PT.
