Pinay Celebrity Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla Explains Daughter Isabella’s Catholic, Muslim Baptism Rites
The Filipina celebrity Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla has explained her daughter’s Catholic and Muslim baptism rites through her Instagram post.
Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla is a Filipina actress, commercial model, television host, endorser, and the wife of the Filipino action star Robin Padilla.
The celebrity couple has a daughter named Maria Isabelle Padilla who just turned 1-year-old earlier this month.
On Thursday (November 23, 2017), Baby Isabella had her Catholic Baptism at the National Shrine of St. Michael and the Archangels, which was attended by known personalities in the country including President Rodrigo Duterte.
The 33-year-old actress even posted the photos of Isabella’s Catholic baptism and revealed her daughter had also a Muslim baptism as well.
Mrs. Padilla also explained her daughter’s Catholic and Muslim baptism rites on her Instagram post.
“My Isabella was baptized yesterday. ? welcome to the world of faith my angel @mariaisabelladepadilla ? pls remember that I am a Catholic. Robin is a Muslim and yesterday Isabella also had her Aqiqah. In Islam there is no compulsion. When Isabella is older she can decide what her religion will be. As parents it is our duty to teach our children how to respect ALL religions. It is also our responsibility to guide them but never to dictate to them.
