MARIEL DE LEON – Binibining Pilipinas International 2017 Mariel de Leon remarked of being not a competitive person has gained various reactions.

Really, what famous personalities post on their social media accounts, no matter how big or small, matters to some people probably.

And one of the most controversial recently is the beauty queen and the celebrity daughter Mariel de Leon.

It is after she had been bold and brave in expressing herself and opinion in social media platform to which some netizens did not quite like.

And lately, she had been reportedly involved in an online feud between Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte-Carpio.

Now, in her most recent post on her Instagram account as of this writing is where she wrote something about her fellow contestants during Miss International 2017.

The written caption which sparked various reactions from the people of the social media community indicated:

“I’m not a competitive person at all. So I don’t get why there are girls that take it way too seriously. Some can be rude and inconsiderate to others. I’m thankful that this batch of girls are all very kind and sweet. There were no fights or ill feelings between any of the girls. Pageants are not mainly about winning. It’s about the relationships we make with girls from around the world. It’s about sharing each other’s stories and cultures. It’s about helping each other and showing the world great examples of strong and empowered women from each country. It’s about showing unity with one another and sharing love & respect between different people from different walks of life. All women are Wonder Women! Except me because I love Cat Woman haha. Love to all you strong and genuine pageant women out there!”
