Sylvia Sanchez, Arjo Atayde Part of Casts of Upcoming Soap Opera
SYLVIA SANCHEZ – Veteran Kapamilya actress Sylvia Sanchez is one of the casts of the upcoming soap opera Hanggang Saan.
Sylvia Sanchez is one of the Filipino stars who have already bagged numerous awards for their excellent skills in acting. One of her biggest break this 2017 was her role in The Greatest Love.
The veteran actress played the lead role, Gloria, a selfless mother to her children and one with a positive outlook on life. She, later on, had an Alzheimer’s disease.
Based on a report in Philippines’ Ultimate Showbiz Hub (PUSH), Sylvia Sanchez recently bagged another award for her role in The Greatest Love. She bagged the ‘Best Dramatic Actress’ award during the 31st PMPC Star Awards for TV 2017.
According to Sylvia, she did not really expect to play the lead role in the said television series. She expressed that she is used to playing as the supporting actress and playing the lead role in a television series is something she did not expect.
Based on the report, the veteran actress also expressed during the interview that she believes that before she was born in this world, everything that will happen has already been written.
“May plano na ang Diyos sa bawat isa sa atin. So plinano niya ito na sa age na ito, ito ang mararating ko,” she said.
According to Sylvia, she still feels anxious whenever she would go up the stage and receive an award although she has already previously received awards for her role in The Greatest Love. The actress said that she still forgets to thank a lot of people.
Based on the report, following her role in The Greatest Love, Sylvia Sanchez will play another role of a mother in an upcoming soap opera “Hanggang Saan”. She will be working with her son Arjo Atayde in the said project.
The veteran actress did not hesitate to admit that she feels pressure about working with her son. Based on another report, Arjo is the son of Sylvia with husband Art Atayde. He is best known for his role in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
“Doon ako nape-pressure. Siyempre kaming mag-ina… Nung una, nung inoffer palang sabi namin ‘Kaya ba natin to? Okay ba?’ Ganon lang,” she said.
Meanwhile, according to Sylvia, as they were doing the flow of the story, they knew that the people will really accept it.
The veteran actress will play the role of ‘Mama Sonya’ in the soap that is set to air on November 27.
