Previous Miss Universe candidates Pia Wurtzbach, Ariella Arida and Maxine Medina expressed their observation on the performance of reigning Miss Universe Philippines Rachel Peters.
This year’s most prestigious beauty pageant, the Miss Universe will be happening on November 26 at the Planet Hollywood Resorts and Hotel in Las Vegas.
This year’s pageant will its 66th.
And the country’s bet for the said upcoming competition might be all set and prepared, the previous beauty queens who have also been there prior to her commented.
These beauties are just as excited as her in vying for the crown.
According to a report from the Philippines’ Ultimate Showbiz Hub (Push), Ariella Arida, Maxine Medina, and Pia Wurtzbach commented on her performance.
2013 Miss Universe 3rd Runner Up Ariella Arida said, “Yung walk niya lang. Kasi yung mentors niya sinasabi lang sa akin physically yung shoulders ni Rachel medyo mataas, normal niya na yun and sobrang stiff niya rin. Parang gusto nila medyo di mapansin yun siyempre”
She further admitted even, “In Miss Universe mahalaga talaga siya. Ako nga kahit wala akong katawan nun dahil sa lakad nakapasok (laughs) hindi lang face ang nakikita sa iyo when you walk nadadagdagan ang points sa iyo ng judges.”
2016 Miss Universe Philippines Maxine Medina briefly said on the other hand, “I believe in her. For sure mage-enjoy siya and good luck to her!”
And of course, Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach has indicated, “Nag-ask na rin siya sa akin ng advice. Minessage niya ako. Tinanong niya ako kung anong mga kailangan tandaan or isipin. Sabi ko, ‘Focus ka lang. Huwag ka madi-distract and enjoy ka lang.’ Easier said than done pero kapag nandoon na siya, maiintindihan niya yung sinasabi ko.”
She added that the candidates in this year’s competition will increase in participants and would probably hit 100 which is interesting and fun for her.
