#WalangPasok: All Levels Class Suspension In Metro Manila November 16-17

Metro Manila mayors announced class suspension in Metro Manila due to ASEAN.

METRO MANILA – The mayors of the Metro Manila have decided a class suspension in all levels in Metro Manila due to ASEAN Leaders’ Summit and Related Meetings.

In consideration of the upcoming ASEAN Leaders’ Summit and Related Meetings this November, the Metro Manila Council (MMC) decided to give way to the said event which will be held in the country.

The cl(–foul word(s) removed–) in all levels in Metro Manila is suspended from November 16 to 17.

According to the chairman of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Danilo Lim, the decision has been finalized during the 9th meeting of the MMC.

According to a report from the Rappler, the ASEAN dialogue partners will also be attending the event aside from the leaders and senior officials from ASEAN member-states.

This coincides with the ASEAN’s 50th founding anniversary.

Other leaders coming from other countries are also expected to come.

And among the leader to attend will be United States’ President Donald Trump as he will participate in US-ASEAN Summit and the East Asian Summit in Clark Freeport in Pampanga to where the meetings will be held from November 10 to 14.
