Popular Celebrities Reacts On Mocha Uson’s Blogger Status Regarding Fake News
Popular Celebrities and famous television personalities have expressed their reactions regarding Mocha Uson’s blogger status.
On Wednesday (October 04, 2017), Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson has joined a hearing in the Senate as one of the resource speakers.
Mocha Uson has been known as one of the staunch supporters of President Rodrigo Duterte who was defending him through her post in the social media. She was also allegedly involved on the circulation of fake news particularly on her Facebook account, which has more than five million followers.
However, the PCOO Asec explained that she is a blogger and not a journalist. The former lead vocalist of Mocha Girls also said that she has the right to express her opinion in the social media.
“I have the right to… I have a right… I have the right… ano po? I have the right to… against self- discri… ano, against self-incrimination… Sensya na,”said by Mocha quoted by PEP.ph
Recently, famous personalities such as Ethel Booba, Bianca Gonzales, Karen Davila, Agot Isidro, and Lord de Veyra have expressed their reactions about fake news, which was linked to the controversy involving Mocha.

Karen Davila: “Pano kasi kung yung source ng fake news ay nakaupo sa gobyerno? Binabayaran na ng buwis natin ginagamit pa sa propaganda? What can we do?”

Lourd de Veyra: “Ganun pala yun. Pag blogger hindi na kailangan ng side ng ibang tao kasi personal mong opinyon naman yun. Bakit pa nag hearing ang senado?”
