Fernando Landicho, a Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) employee in Carmona, Cavite was shot dead in Tanauan City, Batangas on Saturday noon, September 30, 2017.
According to Senior Inspector Hazel Luma-Ang, Batangas police information officer, Landicho, an assistant district engineer for DPWH, was washing his vehicle at Purok 2, Barangay Banadero when unidentified gunmen fired at him.
The incident took place at exactly 11:20 a.m. The DPWH employee died on the spot.
Based on the police report, the suspect along with another person who served as the lookout fled after the shooting.
The authorities are still investigating the incident.
