Is Kim Chiu expecting another Star Magic Ball “paandar” from Xian Lim?
KIM CHIU – One of Kapamilya network’s sought-after actress Kim Chiu answers if she is still expecting another surprise proposal from Xian Lim to be his this year’s Star Magic Ball date.
Indeed, the fast-approaching Star Magic Ball is the season for the actors to ask the ladies they would like to have as dates for this much-anticipated event.
Now, the social media has been the channel of the people to know how a particular actor would have a surprise proposal to the girls they like to bring to the ball.
However, not in the case of Xian Lim as to how he would ask Kim Chiu for the past five years of this big annual event.
For the past years, it was Kim whom Xian chose to be his date for the event and during those proposals, there was no camera around to record it.
He would always rather opt to invite her privately.
But in this year’s Star Magic Ball, what would be Xian’s surprise for Kim? Would he make another “paandar” proposal?
In a report from the Philippine Entertainment Portal (Pep), Kim answers if she is still expecting for Xian to pull off something.
Kim said, “Hindi naman… Parang ilang years naman na may paandar. So, parang siguro bigay na sa mga teenagers.”
The 27-year-old Kapamilya actress added, “So, parang sa edad namin ngayon, siguro okey lang kahit ano. Paandar o ano, okey lang.”
This will the fifth year of them to attend the ball.
Looking back, Xian never failed to do the traditional and formal way of asking the actress to be his date. He accordingly would not just settle in texting or call her to ask her.
He would often visit Kim at his residence armed with a bouquet of roses, a stuffed toy, and a banner which indicates, “Will you be my date?”
