As per the previous report, September 21 or widely known as the National Protest Day is just one of the 5 special holidays according to a declaration made by the Malacañang Palace only for the month of September.
Other specific dates of the said special holiday were September 18, 20, 27, and 29.
21st of September also marked the 45th anniversary of Martial Law.
Martial Law was announced by the late former Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos under his dictatorship.
It dubbed as the darkest time of the country and of the Filipinos where they suffered abuses from the authorities.
And this where a Bloodless Revolution happened.
But then, the current leader of the country, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, declared that it is not a holiday but the work and cl(–foul word(s) removed–) on public institutions will be suspended.

What was written indicated, “Dad, uwi ako before 10pm laban lang me PARA SA BAYAN!”

One netizen commented, “Laban para sa bayan?hay naku! Di maintindihan sa inyo na nagra rally kng ano ba tlaga pinaglalaban nyo..ayaw nyo ng ganitong paraan ng gobyrno tpos kapag may nangyari sa mga kapamilya nyo na kagagawan ng mga adik sisi kyo ng sisi sa pangulo!”
