GMA network CEO and chairman Felipe Gozon releases a statement on Atom Araullo’s transfer.
FELIPE GOZON – The Chief-Executive-Officer (CEO) and the chairman of the Kapuso network (GMA) release statement upon Atom Araullo’s transfer.
The people were absolutely in shock upon the announcement of Atom Araullo that he is leaving his previous network, the ABS-CBN, and quitting all his commitments from it.
As per the previous report, he reasoned out that a lot of opportunities that have come to his way and considering the numerous interests in his mind and the plans he laid ahead of him, he would like to try and grab it all.
And based on another previous report, he has been officially introduced as a Kapuso in the September 20 episode of 24 Oras.
Accordingly, Atom has said, ‘Sa larangan ng journalism gusto ko pang matuto, sa palagay ko this is one of the best place to learn new things about journalism so I’m really excited.”
And his very first project to do with his new network is to make a documentary about the seas of the Philippines and he is now the fifth reporter of the multi-awarded documentary program of the Kapuso network, the i-Witness.
And here is the official statement of the network’s CEO and chairman Felipe Gozon, “Dahil kilala ang GMA-7 sa paggawa ng world class at award-winning documentary and public affairs programs, kami ay nalulugod sa paglipat ni Atom Araullo para lalo siyang mahasa sa pagiging magaling na broadcast journalist at documentarist among others.”
Based on a report from The Philippine Star, Atom is a graduate of Applied Physics from the University of the Philippines-Diliman.
He is currently an advocate for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in the Philippines which is a humanitarian organization.
