Star Magic Ball is the gathering of the biggest and the most popular celebrities in the showbiz industry under the Star Magic, which was formerly known as ABS-CBN Talent Center. This annual event is one of the most-anticipated gatherings in showbiz.
The biggest Filipino celebrities were already preparing ahead before the biggest showcase of the brightest stars in the country this year.
However, before the gathering of the most popular celebrities in showbiz here is a quick overview at the previous Star Magic Balls that will give us an idea of what to expect this 2017.
In 2007, the Star Magic Ball has only started with only less than 200 guests. The Stardust Best Dressed award for the senior category of Star Magic Ball 2007 has won by Korina Sanchez and Mar Roxas. The celebrity couple is non-Star Magic artists.
In 2010, the Filipino singer Martin Nievera composed and performed the song entitled “All for one, One for All” for Star Magic founder Johnny Manahan.

This annual event has been held only in three hotels such as Fairmont, Makati Shangri-La and Intercontinental Hotel. It has been only televised twice; first in the year 2015 and second in 2016.
In 2015, the limited edition coffee table book entitled “Charo and I” was launched during a Star Magic Ball. In 2016, Star Magic Ball had its first-ever microsite.
