Ex PBA Star Cris Bolado Died In A Motorcycle Accident On Sunday (September 17, 2017)

The former PBA star Cris Bolado or known as “Lucky Charm” has already passed away after a motorcycle accident on Sunday (September 17, 2017).

On Sunday morning around 9:35 am, Cris Bolado died in a motorcycle accident in Phnom Penh, Cambodia while heading to a local hospital. The accident happened when Bolado’s motorcycle unexpectedly crashed into an Isuzu pickup truck.

The 48-year-old man suffered a severely broken left foot and supposed to be rushed to the nearest hospital. Unfortunately, the basketball star died on the way.

Bolado was a native of Lucban Quezon who was a player of Alaska Aces for six years. He also played for Purefoods, Ginebra, San Miguel, Red Bull, and Coca-Cola in his Nine-Year PBA career.

The 6-foot-7 basketball player is a former standout of National University Bulldogs before he was drafted by Alaska in the second round of PBA Draft. He was also one of the members of Alaska’s 1996 Grand Slam Team.

The basketball player has earned at least 11 PBA titles on championship events in his career before filing his official retirement in 2003.
