Jinggoy Estrada set free after bailing out worth P1.3-M.
JINGGOY ESTRADA – Detained former senator Jinggoy Estrada was set free temporarily after posting bail worth P1.3-M from being detained for three years.
The former senator was detained after his alleged involvement in the Pork Barrel scam.
He got detained for three years and was declared as a free man with his temporary freedom after posting bail.
According to a report from the GMA News, the bail was worth P1.3-M.
He has left his detention cell at the Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Center inside Camp Crame in Quezon City before the clock strikes 1 pm, Saturday, September 16.
The said former senator faces graft and plunder charges after the allegation of him misusing his Priority Development Assistance Fund.
Before leaving the detention center, Estrada’s health condition was checked by a doctor.
