Several local government units (LGUs) and schools in the country declared the suspension of cl(–foul word(s) removed–) on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, due to Tropical Storm Maring.

Meanwhile, based on the latest advisory issued by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, Tropical Storm Maring has slightly intensified.
Maring was spotted at 370 km West of Iba, Zambales (14.8 °N, 116.6 °E), transversing with maximum sustained winds of 85 kph and gustiness of up to 105 kph.
Maring is forecast to move West Northwest at 18 kph and it is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) this late afternoon or evening.
